My Philosophy

I believe that every child in my home childcare has the right to be respected, the right to explore and dream, the right to have their gifts recognized and valued the right to be nurtured, cared for, and receive unconditional love, and the right to be themselves, who God created them to be. The children in my care will have the opportunity to learn through play and exploration through our toddler and preschool programmed activities as well as through free play and imagination led activities.

I believe in the importance of working together with the parents to provide the highest quality of care for their child. It is my role and goal to support every child’s developmental stages, encourage all milestones, create a warm and welcoming environment, and encourage warm, responsive, and respectful relationships.

What are your hours of operation?

We are open M-F from 6:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
(with the exception of holidays and vacation days)

Do you currently have openings?

I would be happy to go over this with you and let you know about our current openings. Please jump over to my contact page to contact me.  I will reply asap.

Is this a pet friendly environment?

Yes. We have a loving cat that has been a part of our family for 8 years. We also have some chickens that are located in a separate fenced area than that of which the children play.
Healthy farm-fresh eggs are always a great bonus!

Is this a smoke free home?

Yes, we are a smoke free home. We do not smoke, nor do we let anyone bring tobacco on our property.

Tammy’s daycare has been a blessing in our lives.  We have been blessed to have found a daycare provider that goes beyond everything to make sure the kiddos have a great experience in her home. I absolutely love how she has a schedule every day and fun projects to keep the kids busy.  Tammy is very organized and prompt with her monthly calendars. It’s so nice to see what the kids will work on in advance. My daughter loves all the fun projects she does while at daycare. She is constantly telling us what she did.  Tammy is very kind and I love her open-door policy. She has a way with children that I absolutely admire. She has been so good to our daughter and truly adores all her kiddos in her care.

Tammy has been a part of our family and her daycare has been our little ones second home. Ryan talks about Miss Tammy when we get home. She’d tell us on the weekends how she couldn’t wait to go to daycare on Monday.  Sometimes she’d even get grumpy when it was time to go home, which would make any mom a little jealous.  Mostly I felt very secure that my daughter was happy and comfortable.

The art projects are adorable. The menus contain healthy meals and snacks. The curriculum is age appropriate. The communication from Tammy to the parents is never lacking. Despite plenty of outside playtime, my daughter never came home dirty.  I just cannot say enough about how much we love Tammy.  I cannot express how much she has impacted our lives and how we will miss her.

If you’re lucky enough to get a spot in her daycare, take it!

          We have been very happy with the care received. Happier than any center we used. Our child no longer cries at daily drop off because she has a single provider that knows her well vs. at the center.

        Our daughter is now excited to go to daycare and even talks about Tammy after she leaves for the day. Tammy also does numerous activities and crafts with the children.  She is so incredibly important to us and the development of our child. Our daughter is always learning something new and having fun.

         We have learned if you find the right in home daycare and provider, you have won the daycare lottery. Tammy is fantastic and we feel lucky to have found her.
